Deborah A. Evans: Founder of Ascend Virtual Resource Center

With over two decades of dedicated service to individuals with special needs, Deborah A. Evans began her career as a Therapeutic Homecare Provider in 1998 and is a NJ Certified Teacher of Students with Disabilities. Her firsthand experience and profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with special needs and their caregivers inspired her to establish Ascend Virtual Resource Center. Her commitment to providing timely resources and robust support is fueled by a deep-seated passion and extensive experience in the field. Deborah is honored to be recognized as the 2023 NJ Governor’s Educator of the Year, a testament to her enduring dedication and impact in the community.
